Before the Festival

How to Dress & What to Bring

Dress for comfort and be sure to check the weather forecast before you head out the door. The festival grounds are a combination of paved surfaces, boardwalk, sand, and gravel, so choose your footwear accordingly. We recommend a hat, sunglasses, and a jacket for potential chilly evenings.

Getting Here

Boardwalk Rock is located at Ocean City Inlet Beach: 809 South Atlantic Ave Ocean City, MD 21842

  • PREMIUM ENTRANCE: Look for the exclusive VIP/Platinum/Ultimate entrance, located on Caroline Street. During peak festival entry times, security may open this entrance to all guests.

Kids in Platinum 

To ensure adequate resources and amenities and to provide a premium experience for everyone in Platinum, any kids between the ages of 3-8 years old will need to have a Platinum Kids wristband, which can be purchased through the links below. They can also be purchased at the festival from the Platinum Concierge. Kids 2 and younger are free in Platinum with a ticketed adult. Any kids 9 years old and above will need to have a Platinum wristband for entry into the Platinum areas. Proof of age will be required for entry.

  • Platinum Gift – a special thank-you for our Platinum guests. Visit the Platinum Concierge desk to redeem yours! Gifts are only to be picked up at the festival and will not be mailed afterward.
  • Priority Platinum checkout lane at Festival and Artist merch stores. Look for the Platinum lane sign!
